lol. Went out today, she is more caved in around the flank area, still seeping from her hooha, reddish-brownish tinge, I was rubbing her back slowly and with a tiny bit of pressure, she has this look of Ahhhhhhhhhh, I rubbed her sides, felt the baby kick or something, kinda like an elbow or knew where I was pressing. not hard, the top of her tail head is springy, her butt is too, unless she flex's her muscles, then it is sorta hard. clear fluid then nice color milk. I am not going to check her milk any more, it seems to be ok. she is going to make me wait the whole 13 and 1/2 months, she knows I want her to have this baby, If I breed her again I will know to take into account how long this one took, and make sure it is not triple digits when that one is born. Even though I did not know how long she carries I feel so bad that she is pregnant, and we are getting hot, we do have a low moving into place tomorrow and Wednesday, keep fingers crossed she will have it then, cause after that it is going to get hot.....

went out tonight had to worm the horse's and let them out for a bit, she is really springy in the butt and on the tail head, she has milk in both sides now they look the same, so I know she is close. Her hoohaa is longer today. still leaking, fluid. I am going bonkers, but I don't let her know.I massage her belly, and her sides, and her neck. Tonight as I was doing this she was dropping her head and closing her eyes. she looks forward to it. I also take a cool rag and clean between her teets. she likes that too. we are hoping soon.... I will have the vet out again if she does not have it by Friday, he is going to love me more money in his pocket.... but I want her ok, healthy, and have that baby. which i know he will not induce, he is so against that. and I don't want that I have heard it is not good for the mama, or the baby, complications are so common.

she was due may 11th,08. she is heading into her 13th month now, here are some pictures I took of her tonight, I hope you all can see the changes. As i was rubbing her and massaging her one of the other people came over by her, she heard his voice and shot out sideways away from me. I had to follow her around the pen to make her calm down, finally she did followed me back to her feeder where her yummies were.and we resumed her massage...

no he didn't. cause she was a witch she fights cause she hates that and he did not want to stress her out. he swears there is a baby in there, he saw movement. So I am hanging in there. this is her 3 foal, 4the pregnancy, but he is due out tomorrow so we will have him check her no matter how witchy she is. Yes we have milk in both bags, just no big bags.

Doc was out checked her, palpitated her, and she absorbed the baby, this is the 2nd time she did this, her uterus felt really gushy and not in good condition. so we will not be breading her again. If we do we will have to have her on progesterone, since this is her 2nd time to absorb a baby, she will have to be checked every 30 to 45 days through out her pregnancy. So we won't breed her. Just let her be our trail horse, and the one my granddaughter will be able to ride... He said what he thought was a baby the last time he isn't sure what it was, and apologized. I am also responsible for him not checking her out completely, I wasn't comfortable with him cause I thought it might stress her out. my mistake....

Hey Nola, I'm so sorry. Its tough to have your hopes and dreams so high and then not have it work out. I did the same with Tia the first year I had her. She was confirmed in foal and got to be huge but she didn't foal and after a year I knew it wasn't meant to be. There will be a foal for you in the future, a special wonderful one. Just you wait and see.

thank you all for the kind word, and yes their will be that special foal, and I am now ok and relived she isnt pregnant, does that make sense. Stormy and Riddle will be my next hope. but not for a bit. I have allot I need to learn, and want to work on that first.
