I have one of Diamond Rio's 07 boys. We are hoping to stand him once he is old enough and been handled/trained.

This is Bolero's first ride just after his 3rd birthday and he was so calm and did great. I was thrilled. See that Sundance head. Linda D Good Golly Miss Linda....He's just as gorgeous as ever...But then Springtime and Chica are beauties too...When you get a chance and a good spring thaw, take some more pics of your crew...it's been far too long since I've seen any...Think the last time was the old Kiger board... Westry, Lovely farm and Spyder looks very nice indeed. What a beautiful face he has. Welcome!
Angela, Thanks. Yep, Bolero is a looker with a personality to match. Sadly, I spent today creating sale flyers for my Kigers and mule. I am looking for ideal homes with talented horsemen to do what I can't. Both Bolero and Chica have so much potential! There is a photo of Chica from last summer under the general topic heading at the end of page 3 in the New member thread. There are more photos of Bolero under Stallions: Sundance thread. I am sure looking forward to getting my rid of the winter woolies. They are shedding! Linda D

Linda, that still makes me so sad that you are selling Bolero and Chico, are you also selling Springtime? Firefly has a ton of potential too, that she may never realize, but she fills such a space in my heart, I couldn't sell her unless she herself was in danger of not being taken care of due to funds. Her first order in life is to be my friend, companion and little girl.

Linda, I am sorry to hear that you are needing to sell your Kigers and mule. Does that include Springtime? Hope things shape up for you soon. Kim

Spyder looks like he will be very nice, would love to see more pictures this Spring. Linda, I'm so sad to hear you are selling your horses. Its certainly hard times for many people. I hope you do find some talented horsemen, your Kigers are the best and deserve great homes. I currently have two stud prospects, the two year old Blue Skies Canyon (Chinook Canyon x Lark Creek) and weanling Mojito Canyon (Chinook Canyon x Sedona Creek). Lark is out of Steens Vaquero and Cedar Creek (Steens Kiger x Dakota). Sedona is out of Doc Martin and Belle (Siverado x Quail). Both are grulla, Mojito is the rare very light grulla. When we get some warmer weather and the hair starts coming off we'll see which one to keep. Nice minded guys both of them and great breeding potential with those blood lines. Here is Blue as a yearling, right now he is mostly hair and mud. He is full brother to Meadow Lark Creek, which some of you may remember. Lark and Chinny have such a nick. and Mojito from last December. He's growing like a weed and may be tall.

I am sad to hear about Bolero and Chica too! They are some nice looking kigers and it has always been fun to hear about them.
Dianne- Those boys look like they are going to be head turners! Do you have any plans slated for them yet? Can't wait for more pictures! Any news about Rio?

My plan is to keep one of the boys, which one will be decided this next spring when they shed out. Blue has the neat personality, and I'm very fond of his dam, Lark. But there is just something about Mojito right from the start. Time will tell. I haven't had the money to pursue Rio, and haven't talked to his owners in quite a while.

thanks... I am hoping to clean the mud off of him this week. He has an awesome personality. We are just really starting to work with him but he is getting the whole invisible leading and who is in charge bit.
