The horse park actually asked if we wanted to do a second presentation on a different weekend, I am not sure right now.. I would be able to work one in hand and the other is coming along but not sure if i have a weekend of stuff worth... I would rather have them prepared rather than just wild eyed and wicked looking... I may go watch... I had emailed kigeranne about who to talk with about that weekend but haven't heard back.

If there is anything wrong or you have a little more info, feel free to add on. Now that I look at this, there are way more kiger stallions out there than I had thought. Hopefully we can really establish some proven bloodlines and familiarize ourselves with what each stallion is capable of and what he passes on. I love to know a breed inside and out!

Rick's Kiger Stallions are missing from the list (if he is breeding to outside mares) Silverado and Casey Tibbs. Rick sold two of his stallions Hard Luck and Columbia years back, I am pretty sure. I am not sure if they are still active or not. Kittyhawk Kigers two stallions are Misterio de Oro and Kiger Shadybrooks Hombre. I am sure several others are here and there out of the limelight. So I have to agree yes, there are lots of Kiger Stallions out there. I also have to say, it has been my experience, they are fairly easy stallions to keep in my mind, which could account for part of the reason why. Don't forget Kelly's Shelby Mustang in Canada

Guess you should add our boy - Fit As A Riddle - Dun stallion, adopted in 2003 and from the Riddle HMA. He has only sired two fillies - we have both of them, born last spring. He will be going out in the public this year for the first time. We are doing a clinic in April and the PWHC show in this area in July. We hope to show the fillies there also. I think one of them is his look-a-like and should be tall - she is all legs. He tops 16 hands now. Both fillies are Dun, one from a wild mare adopted in 1999, the other mare traces back to Silverado. We did not breed anything this year. I was luck to be able to find a way at the last minute to hang onto my horses and my husband starts a job next month so I think we will be okay. I am going to try to get him out to more events this year than the two I listed. The clinic is being held at locally at Piloto Ranch which breeds and raises Andalusians and Lusitanos. I'll be interested in hearing what if anything those folks say about him. I hope he does the breed proud and puts his best foot forward. The clinic includes obstacles and scary things and he loves to try new challenges. I am scurrying to stay one step ahead of him in inventing new things to try. My husband said he would dig me a ditch and hopefully take that dirt and build us a tiered hill to practice our sending excercises.

Our six year old Kiger stallion, Desi, was just gelded yesterday....he has two fillies from last year and three due in May. There is a wonderful family here that has always wanted him and it was a great opportunity for a terrific, forever home! We have two up and coming colts; but they are half Kiger, half Lusitano

HERE IS A PIC OF MY STALLION WHICH I GOT FROM THE LAST ADOPTION. HE HAS COME AROUND WELL. HE'S NOT BAD TO HANDLE. HE LETS ME GROOM HIM AND I HAVE HAD HIS FEET TRIMMED. THE ROPE ON THE HALTER IN THE PIC IS JUST FOR MY CONVENIENCE. HE IS THE SIRE TO LILLY WHO'S PICTURED IN THE FOAL SECTION "2009"

I just joined and I am the new onwer of Bravo Canyon. He is so awsome. My family owns two of his foals. 2year old colt (gelding) out of Lady Rose and his 4 year old daughter out of Sky. They are both great horses. Bravo is doing great. I ride him all over the trails.
