Ah, c'mon Momma.......I'm hoping you get a healthy colt and not twins...that scares the heck out of me....I wish you a baby tonight and some sleep for both of you ladies! Can't believe she hasn't gone yet, c'mon Chilli!!!

I need a margarita!! Right after 10pm last night, Chilli started early labor. I knew we had a malposition because she was not progressing normally and her water not breaking even though she was getting up and down. When her water finally broke, I got my hand in and besides getting ahold of one HUGE foot, both feet were upside down and I could not feel the nose. I got her up and thankfully she laid down on the other side; a quick check and the feet were now normal! Nose was not far behind, but Chilli was so exhausted already, she was not able to progress him very far past the nostrils. Vet arrived quickly and with much effort, we got him out. Guess weight is over 100lbs. Gosh, he's big! He's already totally sweet, wants lovies and is a busy boy. He got those long legs working and motored around the stall figuring everything out quickly. The first time he found the milk barn, he latched on and sucked both right down!! Chilli is doing really well this morning - bright eyed and bushy tailed! More picts later after I wake from my coma. Oh, he's a dunlino - dark striped, ear tips and even eyeliner.

woohoo! He is a giant and look at that fabulous blaze. Apparently it took those extra days to get it painted on so straight. For some reason I thought Gringo was homozygous black, I guessed wrong. Congratulations to you and Chili' on all the hard work for this great dunalino colt. Now get some sleep ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I'm relieved, so I can just imagine how you feel and How Chilli must feel. Glad that you got a very happy ending. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures. Please don't forget after pics of Chilli. The before were just painful to imagine being that huge. She can be proud of this accomplishment.

YAH!!! Great news. He is huge!!! Most babies can walk under their mama's bellies for the first couple of days. He is already way past that. Funny how Chilli waited until her due date. Congratulations on a beautiful boy!!!

This guy actually beat his daddy in size at birth! I think everybody watching did a little jump for joy when he finally came, and im sure Chilli was thinking that to! My vote for his name is Bayo La Amarillo Gigante , or the yellow giant.lol

I must say nothing looks better on a Dunalino then a nice stripe down their back and fabulous blaze on the face, he has everything you could ask for. When he unfolds he will be impressive, good job Gringo and Chilli'.

Such a relief!!! Wow, he is a big boy! It will be fun to compare the two gringo babies and see how similar they are as they develop. I am so happy for you

Oh happy day! Look at that wonderful boy. I can't wait to see him fluffed out and running around! I guess Gringo is a "keeper".
