lol I can sleep for another 3-4 weeks and then no sleep for a few months, lol.
I was hoping for a Dun Filly ... or just a Filly in general. The likelyhood of me keeping the foal was higher with a filly than a colt. But a lot of it depends on him and how is attitude and personality is. So far he seems to be quiet and reserved. Curious but not so much so that he gets in trouble. And smart... "mom says no so i wont do that" (even if it means i dont get to say hi to him until she calms down a bit). My husbands uncle has a mare due any time now as well so we will see how they act if i can get them together, otherwie he will grow up as a loaner, lol.
It has been a long wait and it was a huge relief to see him on the ground last night. But now starts the fun ask of training a foal from day one, lol.

Oh and when she was about 60-70 days along i took her to the vet to see if they could do the fetal sexing and while the vet didnt get to see anything i had done enough research and knew wht to look for and evidently what i saw was right. Even though i was hoping for a Filly deep down i knew it was probably a colt. He is adorable and i wouldnt trade him for anything.
