Yea, it got me out of the Open House!!! Hate crowds and especially when I have to ride in front of strangers...this year the Open House is in May, so no babies due and no getting out of that one!

(trumpets blaring in the background) SHE IS DRIPPING MILK!!!!! It is white and everything. She didnt appear to be dripping at 8:30 when i left to go to town this morning but i just checked her about 10 min ago and sure enough there was wet drops getting ready to drip onto the ground... and i could see evidence that some had dripped on her leg and hoof. I am praying she has it sometime tonight while i am still home.

Well i am back and seems that she wants me to be around when she has the foal because she is still holding out. She has been dripping milk for three days now and i am starting to get a bit worried about her loosing the colostrum. I am thinking she got stung or biten by something this morning as she rubber a spot raw on her upper shoulder/neck about three inches round, poor mama, it is super sensitive. Her back end is still pink and not red but she is just about as miserable as ever.

Introducing DD's Afortunado "Frodo"
A nice big colt for Dollie (and i didnt even have to stay up all night, lol). He was born around 9:30 pm and I missed it by about 20 min. I have pictures of him before he stood learning to stand and his first nursing all within about an hour and a half of his birth, but sadly photobucket it down for maitenance so i will put them up in the morning or you can find them on my FB page.
And he was already trying to run around and making Dollie very nervous. He is super friendly and came up to me when i was saying good night. I think I am in love with a brown eyed boy
