Just though I would update a little. Still nothing but she is due any time now. She has a nice bag and a squishy butt. Her milk is still yellow and more clear but I am still hopeful that this foal will pop out this weekend. All I know on her last foal is that she carried to term and within a few days of her due date, but i dont know what side of her due date and that was 7 years ago.

Sounds like it, lol. Never when you want it to happen though ... We are supposed to get rain all this week and then it stops for the weekend then resumes on tuesday ... I am so hoping she has it while it is dry for a few days because they dont have a super good shelter from the rain and it is still getting in the low 40's at night (i'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to cold weather)

lol it is actually me and my husband's anniversary of our first date... that was the best april fools joke we ever played on people... no one could believe it. Though i think it would be an absolutely awesome day for Dollie to have her foal

Baby maybe?? Dollie was down (stretched on her side) this afternoon for a few min and it appeared she was having contractions. She is up and eating a little now but is stopping frequently and looking like she is concentrating/staring off deep into space but being very uncomfortable while doing so. Plumbing still works so it aint colic. Fingers are crossed

OK well nothing so far and now she is offically over due... her belly has dropped, her flanks have sunken in, but her milk is still clear. Still biting and kicking at her belly but the foal is moving so it is still alive in there... oh and just out of curiosity i weighed her on an actual scale and she is 1140lbs give or take up to 10 pounds... have i mentioned i love living on a dairy? I have access to all sorts of cool toys.

My daughter was born on April fools day. My hubby thought I was pranking when I told him that I was in labor. NOT!

lol her last foal was born on April 1st... and boy was he a looker, and still is. Gorgeous stallion out of Donner, and he just has his first foal hit the ground a few weeks ago... a colt. Dollie has a Grandson, YEY!!!
