39 days to go, will get the mare barn up this weekend, and move her to it so she can adjust...am so excited...

we are down to the wire, she is starting change, she has her bag, her hind quarters are squishy, her hoohaa is long gated, she is really closr now rime to get her into her pen ...will keep you posted.

bought a new video camera tonight, will try to post video of Stormy now, and hopefully during, and after the birth. am so excited for this birth.

we are 10 days out according to the date calculator, she is in her pen, away from the others, she is really close, her bag is in, the foal is in position, ( according to how it is kicking her) at the area where the bag is her belly is more v looking now instead of round, flanks are hallow, so is the top part of her rump, she is gushy. her tail head is really soft/gushy feeling. I check her every day. but I am not staying down there, got the jeepers scared out of me, two illegals were shooting at each other on the west side of the place we have our horses, not on the property. So I am at home, but run down there several times a day. will keep you posted. Do have video of her just do not know how to post it from the camera to here.

were 9 days, and today she was kicking at her belly, not allot but more then yesterday. she has as I call it con caved more at the flank, her hip bone is really sticking out, she is lifting her tail, but her hoohaw is long but as a friend said not swollen enough, but that can happen at any time, she thinks Stormy might have a big baby, were hoping for a colt, but we will be happy with what ever it is and want the foal and mommy to be okay. I worry about the delivery, and I know I shouldn't. Will post picture's and i hope video soon.
