I am sure this will work out for the best...my mare, Sycha, has had issues a few times with reabsorbing foals. A client (who bought a Sycha filly) says that "that's because she only keeps the best". That's how we look at it and it helps a bunch!
So, expect the best next year!

stormy is 32 days pregnant, by her last breed date, and she hates Riddle, and that tells us she is pregnant...no winking, no nothing, just get away from me you ugly man horse attitude...I am so excited, and yes Michelle I will look at this as being the best year, and the foal being the best foal...thank you for the uplifting words, I was worried about breeding her again...

I'm sure she'll do well this time, hard that it didn't work the first time. These mares are sturdy stock and usually are quite fertile and do really well being moms.

woo hoo only 136 more days to go, not all that long...Baby and momma seem fine, I tell baby please do not be over active...Stormy loves it when I rub her belly, and under belly, and clean between her teets..She loves being around us, and follows us, and tries to help when we are doing our chores...I was worried about the time of year this foal will be born, then weaned, but not any longer, she knows what to do, and horses have been having babies for eons...but I still am camping out and watching when it gets about 2 weeks away...Tent, air mattress near her birthing pen, and cameras in her birthing pen...
