Some progress tonight...Mari's udder are super full and her nitties are pointing outward. She had been standing in the middle of her pen yawning like crazy. She sure has drug this out but I am actually happy she seems to be shaping up more like she should instead of surprising us all the time; having small udders, etc. Tells me her body is getting more balanced.
Leza had milk tonight! Yeah!!! If she follows her normal pattern, she should wax tomorrow then foal tomorrow night.
On another exciting note - Nesa bred to Gringo today!! Whoo whoo!! I have been planning this foal for three years and I even left Nesa off last year so she would not be so shy about being bred while she had a foal at her side. Super excited...
Morgan was also bred with Charro today for another super QH cross foal.

Wow, sounds like a couple of neat crosses....holding our breath this morning waiting for news. One foal or two?

Sorry to make you wait - none! however, Leza has wax so she should foal tonight. Mari's udders are HUGE HUGE and HUGE but no wax or milk drips yet...and still don't know if she'll do that anyway.
Tasa has re-weaned poor Zerlina. She was so happy to see her momma again when I brought the mares up and they have been inseperable since then. Z throws tantrums at night when Tasa comes in and she stays outside. The last two days, Zerlina has been by herself a lot and ignoring the herd. Not trying to run into the barn every time I open the gate either. Poor baby!

Silly fillies. Making you wait just to see how much they can frustrate you!

How did they not have them yet! I think it should be a requirement to log in every morning Michelle. I was sooooo excited to see you hadn't logged in yet, because that may have meant you were busy with new babies!

Remind me, please - what does RB stand for? Every time I see it, the song 'Running Bear' starts running through my mind. The old song by Johnny Preston from the 50's.

RB is Rancho Bayo...our farm name.
Leza is going between dripping milk and streaming. Any time now!
Mari's nitties are super full - but no leakage yet. Hmmmmm.....maybe Leza will inspire her!

Thank you. For some reason I absolutely could not remember that. Maybe now that song will get out of my head!
I keep peeking back to see if any of the ladies have popped!

Congratulations! At least I guessed the gender right. That's better than I expected to do!
