Maybe tonight tonight TONIGHT!!! Nola, it sounds like the folks at your barn are ignorant, I pity thier horses! Once when Madonna was 9 months pregnant, she reared straight up in the air playing with her big beach ball belly sticking way out, it was the funniest thing, wish I had a camera. Maybe since Flashy is not so big she will have a nice filly for you...

I sure hope it is a filly, cause if it is a colt then we will be forced to geld him, cause the owner no longer wants Studs on his property. But if it is a colt we will talk to a friend and make another pen for momma, and baby near where Riddle is. Yes they tend to be ignorant, i admit I do not know allot, but I am willing to ask, but they know it all and wont ask then when you correct or prove them wrong not trying to prove it mind you, they turn on you in a flash. So i try not to have allot to do with some, hence i ask you all the questions. thank you for answering them and steering me in the right direction....I hope too that it arrives here soon, but am no longer worried, cause I know all is well, and will be.they are just jerks...

I am back form my trip to the coast and I was wondering if Flashy had a Mother's day foal as of yet? I am hoping that the reason nola has not yet posted is because she is busy playing with baby

no baby yet, but her butt is so gushy, she is squirting allot her tail is up and to the side for a long time. milk in both bags now, waxing. and we are hoping for this week. the person of non interest again started in om me about her pregnancy and I looked at him and asked when did he become a vet, and I want to see his degree, he shut up real fast. Now i am not a mouthy person but I had to say something and then I walked over to my Flashy.

The rule is you have to be completely nuts and verbaly beg and plead with Flashy to foal and then she will consider having thet baby....LOL ;D I am sure you are probably past that point by now so I would expect, when you least expect it, she will have that foal waiting for you.

yeah it is like putting a frozen roast in a low heating crock pot. This is my first experience with breeding, and I hope when i do Stormy in a couple of years it won't be like this.

I am trying not to go crazy, the vet says she is pregnant, (duh) she is getting ready, but he really can't pin point it. What I am worrying about is at the advice of my vet I gave Flashy her spring shot, and west niles, 3 weeks before her due date. I told him i was worried it could cause problems maybe even kill the foal, he told me hog wash, she needs it 3 weeks before so it can get into her milk something like antibodies that is, so the baby will get it when nursing. now I am afraid I did something wrong.
