Toni, I think there are several people from the East coast taking trailers out there. One being Amanda, she may be willing to take your offer!

I'll be there to meet everyone, not bidding though...unless the Lonesome Prince is there. Hope he isn't, he needs to stay out there and have a herd!!
Checked prices and America's Best has good reviews except a skimpy breakfast, $50. Best Western is $77. Think I'll stay at America's Best. When is everyone coming?

Diane, We will be there early Friday morning to start filming at the corrals for the day. We stayed at Americas Best about 2-3 years ago and were not impressed with the room, the staff or the breakfast (pretty cheesy). We are going out in a week and will try a night at the Silver Spur: www.silverspurmotel.net/index.htmlWe will get back to you on what we find. I know it is an older motel, but it is owner operated and they seem very nice. I don't need a pool or health club onsite. |

My father in law owns property in Burns ..I may just drive my motorhome up and stay on the property or ask him where he stays, when he goes every month to check on his rental properties. I do plan to attend.

I cant wait to meet everyone!! I hope everything works out and im able to come. The trouble is finding someone to come with me, not that I cant travel alone, done it many times but it's nice to have a travel partner!! REMEMBER - leaving check book at home!! hah!!! Surely there's not gonna be one that I just can't do without, right?  ? |

The auctions I've been to I have not gotten qualified to bid. Saved me. Cause I was always going "that's not enough for that good Kiger!" I would have come home with six, again...

Yea I know it will be hard not to grab one for sure especially being my first kiger adoption! Oh I get so excited thinking about it...!
Do you have to provide pics/etc of your facility to get approved?

The fencing is pretty stringent, you can go to the BLM site and download their requirements and instructions.

So does every one fly into Redmond? Trying to book flights and not sure where to fly into. Has anyone booked a hotel yet, are the rooms starting to fill up? What's the going rate for those that have booked? ? Lots of questions...sorry guys, my first adoption!!! |

You will need to fly into Redmond. I don't know about flights from Redmond to Burns. But I'm sure someone coud pick you up on their way through.
