My husband loves his car too especially with the T-tops.
That grass is well manicured and the cars and horses are never allowed on it except for pictures. Dollie is atually afraid to walk in front of the milk-barn (in the background) on the cement when being ridden but she will walk in front of it nervously when led. I was so nervous taking this picture because i didnt want her, or Frodo, to flip out and accidently hit the car. Dollie was very content to just go on the grass and munch away. Frodo on the other hand wanted to play and jump on Dollie. He actually flipped over right after this because he spun around lunged forward and reared up and i still had a hold of the lead rope, oops. Oh yeah they both had lead ropes on in this picture I just photoshopped them out. Dollies was just dropped in front of her, but i was holding frodo's. After he flipped andwas on the ground he just laid there and started munching , lazy boy, lol.

Well it isnt Frodo but it is my daughter, lol. This is the horse I was practically born riding. Her name is Puppy and she is 32 years young. My mother has had her since she was a yearling. She taught me many things, now hopefully she can teach my baby girl just as much

Hopefully I will have new pictures of Frodo in the next few days. He is a bit of a challenge to take pictures of since he wants to be right in your space getting as much love and attention as possible.

thanks. Puppy has always had a soft spot for babies of all kinds. She was 6 and half (to the day actually) when I was born and My mother would take me on her for rides as soon as i could hold up my head. Once I could sit on my own she would walk beside me holding onto me so I didint fall off (15.3 hh is pretty high up for a little baby, lol). I learned how to ride on that mare. She is my big sister. I can't wait for the day that Kari can ride by herself, and learn to love all horses as I do. Though with her daddy's influence she will love the 350-500 horses under the hood of his cars as well, lol.
I cant believe how big Frodo is getting. It seems as though every time i o out there he is another 3-4 inches taller. I am so proud of him though. For all the lack of socialization and training I have been able to do, he is coming around so fast. I was so shocked when I wrapped that rope around his middle and pulled it tight and led him around. It was like he had had something wrapped around him his entire life. NO buck at all. Even when the blanket slipped off and fell under him, he had no real reaction besides turning his head and looking at it. I have to find my pony bare back pad and see if it will be small enough for him so that he can get use to wearing something (not the fight I want to have when he is 16-17 hands tall and over 1000 pounds). I have a kids pony western saddle for him when he turns six months or a kids aussie horse saddle if he is too big for the pony one.
