From what i have seen he looks like he moves nicely. He pretty much stands still when i am around but once i am out of sight (or so they think) i can catch them running about. He is still figuring out how to use his long legs properly at higher speeds but at three days old i expect him to be a little uncoordinated with those legs, lol.

I havent been out with my camera for a few days but hopefully i can get out again today and get some more shots. He is deffinately a character. Super sweet and quiet but loves to be loved on and run circles around you while you are trying to clean. He has got one back foot that is kinda funky half the time and im not too sure what to make of it. Half the time he toes out a lot and the rest of the time it is perfectly straight. I am hoping that it is just because he has such long legs and how he was positioned in the womb for so long and that with time and exercise it will correct its self. I will have a vet and a farrier take a look at him either way, i dont want him to be messed up later in life because of something that could have been fixed.

Thank you.
I am in love with his face ... especially his dainty little nose. I look at him compared to other foals i see being born and he just looks so refined already in his facial features, especially for a colt. It must be the andi in him. I cannot wait to se how he turns out.
Today he decided that when i was out with them it was a good time to be either glued to my side or sleeping so i didnt get any good pictures, maybe monday. But of course as soon as i was out of camera range he was up and running around and playing with mom.
I decided that today was a good day to introduce him to a latex glove, two rags (one yellow and one white), an empty little bucket, a big bucket filled with all sorts of grooming supplies, and fly spray. The glove was his friend because it scratched him and gave him love. The rags felt good rubbing him down as well so they were a good thing. The empty little bucket was a bit strange but it was something that he could pick up and play with. The big grooming bucket was entertaining with all its new smells and textures. And the fly spray... well that is old hat to him evidently, he didnt care one bit. This boy is awesome!!! He already accepts his halter, but doesnt quite understand pressure yet. He will let me pick up all four feet and gives them to me when i scratch the back of his foot or leg. I can touch him anywhere, and i mean anywhere. I can stick my fingers in his mouth and ears and pull half gummed hay out of his mouth. I can give him a big ole bear hug, pick up his face and hiss his soft little nose. I can push back his lips and look at what will one day be teeth. I absolutely love this little boy.

Love the pics of Frodo....Can't wait to see how he grows and I really like the Kiger/Andy cross in other foals I"ve seen so I bet he'll be every bit as nice as the other foals...
Hope you are feeling good too!!!

Thanks so far so good with him he is an amazing little boy. I plan to do a picture a week to document how he changes.
Approximately three more weeks for me and then there will be another announcement here, lol. I am ready to be done... I dont know how these mares do it for 11 months (dollie did it for a whole year)

He deserves a great head with Dollie for a mom, not to mention the dad. I love him. He's just wonderful in personality and love his conformation, very impressive shoulder and hip. I like how deep his chest is and his long neck. You've got a great boy there.
