That picture of Kira is just a hoot! Looks like something a cartoon artist woud draw; and I can think of several captions for that expression on her face....
Barb, is Wendy Darling bred for this spring? she is my favorite of yours....

The owners of Wendy had left her open, but she will be bred this spring, so she will hopefully have a foal next spring. I am actually Sarah, Barbara's daughter. Our business has been in the family, so more than likely I will be doing something with the family business when the reins are passed to me. Until then, I am just soaking it up and enjoying all I have been learning. Its funny to see how many places I have applied my horse knowledge too...mostly people related.

Yes, a perfect grullo colt from Char and Leza would be just wonderful!! BTW, do you have a nice side shot of Lui for the Rancho Bayo website?? Took picts today of the four mares we have due in spring...they are winter pasture rough, so keep that in mind! Leza, due May 5th: Sycha, due May 19th: Morgan, due June 6th: Nesa, due June 22nd:

Hello Stormy Ranch,
I love your mare!!! She is very well put together. Who is she bred to? If you dont mind me asking what are her bloodlines? I would love to have a field full of Kigers like her!!!

Lui is actually a stallion. One of Michelle's mares is by him, so she wants the picture for a reference. I think Lui is Luietenant North Star- Freeze branded from Kiger HMA. He is about 19yrs. old.

Yes, Sarah, you are correct. Lui was born in 1990 so is 20 years old this year! WOW, hard to believe. He is still wild at our ranch, loads in the trailer with no problem and moves from pasture to his pen when I tell him to. He is truley an amazing animal. My mare Lovely is Aldonza's full sister out of Lui and Leeza. She is very bull headed like her father.

Michelle, I can't believe how much Bayo Raposa Marocha looks like Lovely. Do you want a picture of Lovely to put under Leeza's foals?
