Here's the thread on the raffle colt, just thought I'd bump it up for ya. Kim, how is he? Is he calm and accepting?

I should hopefully have new pics of him this weekend and will send to Lisa to post for everyone to see. He is coming along nicely. I really like him, and if I needed another colt I would personally buy $100 worth of raffle tickets.

Thanks for posting the pics Angel. He's a really nice colt. He just had his feet trimmed and was great! He's learning now to be around more people than just me. Kim

He looks like he's got a red dun coloring to him? What do you guys think?

No Angel he doesn't. Not even close. His dorsal is dark brown, mane and tail black ( with tons of frosting ) and charcoal greyish leg stripes. He went out yesterday and met new people along the road.... they were paving out there. so he was exposed to the heavy equipment, dump trucks etc, and get lots of pets from the flaggers. He's still a little shy about being caught ( not too bad ), but that will come with time. He is great once you have him though.

I don't know...I thought a buckskin dun. We had a red dun QH a year ago and he was definitely redder and his mane and tail were redder too.

I guess it's just his reddish in his hair from foal that's making me see the red...he is a cutie! Good job Kim on handling him. Im sure who ever the lucky person is that wins him - will thank you for all you're doing with him!

I can sure see why you thought so Angel, but pictures can be deceiving. Calista is a similar color at time, with a darkest burgandy mane and tail. His legs are light for zebra dun but Kim's got a great eye for color.

This colt is just awesome! He gets better every day. I just took him for his 3rd trailer ride yesterday when I went to pick up my 4 yr old gelding. He loads so well, and I even closed the slant divider on him this time. He was even great when the other horse got in behind him. The farrier was out again this morning to rasp his feet again. He is so good about anything you want to introduce to him. Tiffany, you are right, someone will be very lucky to get this one! Kim

Wow Kim. You're really doing a lot with him. That's great. Can't wait for the results of who wins him. They're going to be very pleased with what you've done so far.....
