You could really see him shine when he was trotting in the arena with his beautiful movement. He has high knee action with great extension. He will be a beautiful boy when he matures.

I spoke with Nina last night and sent her a link to this board, so hopefully she will come on and meet everyone. It was a very fun weekend at KigerFest and "Rafael" ( what we've been calling the colt ) was such a good boy. From everything form the trailer ride, to lots of different people messing with him, to halter class and in hand trail. He was great! I think everyone who met him fell in love with him. Nina is very excited to have won. Congratulations Nina!

Here are some Pitures of him when he got home.Thought you might enjoy these. Couldn't get any closer on Teddy and Rene together. Our screen door is noisy and Teddy's ear are sharp enough that if I had opened the back door, he'd have been up and running. The nose picture is their first meeting. Hope you enjoy. 9a & Al I then heard from Nina yesterday,Some of you will be more interested than others but today was Renegade's big day. He went from a stallion to a gelding. Everything was in place and easily removed. Vet was very good about explaining everything that I saw including the excess fat that mustangs and mules have in that region! Now to do the watching, exercising and care. I was unaware that he had to be exercised into a good trot for 10 to 15 minutes a day (several times a day) so that the area can drain and seal up properly. This means that we are staying home for Christmas this year. The vet said Rene should be swollen up like a grapefruit + on Christmas day so there is no way I will leave him in Al's care. Al had offered but he is not going to run him like he needs and I don't want the vet back out here. I used the vet that is usually the most expensive in the area as far as cats and dogs are concerned ~ and their quote was the cheapest. They have been doing this for 40 years or better so I knew he was in good hands.
