KY And WA were bidding, and one stray from AZ. Pretty sure all of the other bidders ended up with other horses though. And 8207 was the only guy I was bidding on.

Stud wise, he was my favorite out of all of them. I'm glad you got him and we will be able to follow his progress. I bet he's really going to be a great guy. I do hope someone has a rope to tie to you to hold you down while you wait for him to arrive

It's going to be 2 MONTHS before I can get him! Someone's gonna have to tie me down, lol. The pickup options for me were either in 2 weeks in Columbus Ohio (probably a 9 hour drive for me), or on March 28-29 in Lexington Virginia (only 4 or 5 hours). So as much as I hate to wait, that will give me time to "mustang proof" his stall and make sure the pen is still sturdy, and be sure I have enough hay saved up. *Sigh*. You better believe I'll flood the forum with pics when I get him home though! LOL.

Waiting is soooo difficult! Just do your best to fill the time between now and then with a list of things to do. The time will pass much faster if you do.

You'll be so busy doing things that he will be there before you know it. It's always nice to have time to prepare now that you know he's yours.

Yea, it's only 8 weeks I suppose. Gives me time to buy new horsey stuff for him too! Wonder if a regular horse sized halter will fit him....

A regular horse sized halter made Firefly look like a shetland pony when I first got her. Now she can wear one fine I only currently have one horse, but I have four halters and six lead ropes. I keep extras for emegrencies and for when I breed Firefly to Bravo

So I'm guessing I'll take a yearling halter and a regular horse halter, just in case. He seems to have a longer, more slender nose, so yearling will probably work.
