Today was the trail horse competition and me and lakota took 1st place out of 33 riders!! Im still gleaming - Im so proud of both of us. We did the hole obstacle course in 1.9 minutes. Not only did we have the lowest time, we also had no penalties, we did the whole course without any mistakes, so basically we had a perfect ride I was SOOO nervous because this is was my first ever competition experience and I don't like a lot of people watching me, but I knew with Lakota, we would be ok.. She took care of me and helped me calmed down, even when I a bit off - she stepped right up and took care of it... Me and her are a true TEAM - together we can do anything!!!!! And yes, I had ALOT of questions about her...so great for the kiger world.. yay...

Yep, Im still so excited. I was just surprised I beat my boyfriend - Shane- ha as he is the competative one. He ran right before me and had a great run.... That just goes to show how great kigers are! Not only do you put your trust in them, but they also put there trust in you. I did notice her looking at somethings while going thru the course, but she just kept going on. We are heading to a ranch sorting today to see how she acts with cows !!

I got a video but I've got to figure out to get it downloaded and I'm waiting on pictures from everyone else that was there that took pictures. I'll post as soon as I can. Ranch sorting was fun, I didnt put her in there with them yet, she was very concerned about the cows, so I just let her stand outside the panels and watch this go round....

Such awesome cool fun I have got to sew me up one of those curtians for entering into my round pen. I want to see how many of my horses work that one out. My round pen is in my pasture if I put hay in the round pen, left the gate open, and had the curtian up. I would love to sit and watch to see just who figures that out first.
