Hi All Thanks for the warm welcome. We do have a web site although it is a bit outdated, doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. www.kiger.8k.com Hey Kim, Barbs view of boards hasn’t changed much. As for the adopted mares they are doing good-- well Barbara’s 2 year old (pocket pest) is doing better than my mare (Little Bit), barn names only. Little Bit and I were doing great, or so I thought then came the foal and we took a big step back. We didn’t push her and turned them out on pasture with some of the girls for the summer, by summer’s end she didn’t have a problem with putting her halter back on and getting back working on the handling and trust issue, although I do hear someone snickering at times. All kidding aside she is doing good and will be a nice addition to the program. I will try to post some pictures below. Hi again George, To post pictures the easiest way is to sign up for a photobucket account (free). Upload your pictures there and copy the direct image link to the picture. In the reply (not quick reply) there is an image of a tree that will put two bracketed "image" icons on your post. Copy the link from photobucket between them. You can use preview post to check it. Looking forward to seeing your girls.

Great horses George!! They all look happy and healthy.
Glad you figured out how to post - it can be frustrating until you do it a few times and figure it out, then it's a breeze. Thanks for sharing....

Thanks for the pictures George, those are some nice horses. So your are planning on expanding your mare herd with fillies from Capitano and your mares? Its a good plan.

Welcome George and Barb, Another six degrees of separation.....Kiger Tiger 1 is a great grandfather of my filly Chica on her sire's side. Pretty Wapiti is her grandmother; Lonestar is her sire. Chica is out of my mare, Springtime. I like to see my horse's "kin". No disappointments so far. If you want to follow his get , you will know where this one is. If you are curious, Chica can be seen on: www.community.webshots.com/user/lindaadale I will try later this week to use Dianne's instructions to post some pictures. You have some wonderful Kigers. I would love to see photos of Pretty Wapiti and to know her pedigree. No, I don't have a "pedigree" but I know back to Kiger Tiger 1 on her sire's side. I did not mention Chica's sire Lonestar was out of Pretty Wapiti by Kiger Sundance. Lonestar is breathtaking in my opinion. If you aren't acquainted with him it will be worth your while to look him up. Chica's dam, Riddle Mountain Springtime was wild bred and gathered in utero, with Riddle Mountain Mandy, so that is a short list. My 5 year old stallion, Bolero, is out of Springtime by Kiger Sundance. I of course know Sundance's pedigree is Steens Kiger X Mestena, another short but sweet list. Linda D

Testing 1,2,3. This is my first attempt to post photos. If this works there should be a pic of Chica from last summer as a 4 year old. Linda D Help! Where is the photo? I'm a computer dummy!
