Thanks everyone - Im really happy. Now its time for the name game - any suggestions?? I've never been good with names, I usually have to be around them a few days and figure out there personality - but I guess Dianne will have to help me on that.

It looks like Diane adds Creek to the name of fillies she has bred, so I'd recommend doing that as she is the breeder.
How about Cinder Creek?

Already you can tell that this filly is going to be built nicely! I like the idea of continuing Dianne's naming using Creek....You could also include part of Cedar's name to pay homage to her! Anyone in the Kiger world would recognize that name! Have fun with the naming game...it sometimes drives me crazy!

Yes Angela and Suzy, Diane and I agree'd that I would put Creek in the name - I think that's a good idea. I'm going to think on it some more and see more pics and see what I come up with. Anyone else have any suggestion - please share with me.

We could use a baby name for a while, that's what I usually do. Lark was Babycakes, Bravo was Scamp, etc. and that does until you think of what you'd like to use for a permanent name. Looks like the weather will be yucky for the next four or five days. Its only in the mid 50's and today it looked like a monsoon it rained so hard for a couple hours. I was so glad to have a blanket on her. I'm thrilled for you Angel! I'll send those names along to you to give you inspiration.

Funny how different little girls are from little boys - did I just say that? LOL But she is such a princess. Very sweet and calm. She thought she had forgotten who I was since I wasn't there the day before. But as soon as I scritched her on the butt she remembered! Isn't the one of her eating grass a hoot! She's even standing on tip toe with one back foot to get her butt higher. Very creative.

I have to insert a photo I took of Zorya here doing a similar thing. I thought she looked like a baby giraffe. Her legs are spread, bent, knuckling over, and she leaning back to sink low enough to eat some grass. Her neck, thankfully, has grown a bit since. Suzy

OK Suzy, Dianne and everyone else:
You all need to stop posting such incredibly cute pics of these Kiger babies! It's really killing those of us without a baby in our pasture! OMG! Now I better get off here and go play with my little yearling cause otherwise I'll just sit here and look at these cuties all night long! Seriously though, we have some amazing photographers in our midst....Great shots of the babies gals!
