Exciting News - Im getting a new kiger foal!!

Im so excited I can't stand myself I am buying Dianne's Cedar/Chinny foal. This next week or so will be so slow for me until she has it. I've been so excited and about to bust to tell everyone, but I didn't want to say anything until it got here and everything was ok, but I just couldnt wait any longer, I had to SHOUT ;D it out. Thanks Dianne for this great opportunity - I'm looking forward to see'ing my new bundle of joy and even more excited to get it home!! Also thanks to Ellen and CJ for taking the time to talk to me!!

This is super! I get to play with it for six months and then know that it has a great home to go to with Angel. It just doesn't get any more perfect than that. I'm betting its a boy, just a hunch. Cedar is "officially" due 5/23 but she's always two weeks early so we should see it soon.

Thanks everyone. Im super excited, but it will be a long wait until I get it home but worth it. Im just hoping everything is going to be ok with Cedar and the foal and both are healthy. I was wanting another one but with everything I've been through with Maverick, just wasnt real sure. Since Im getting this one as a foal and I get to raise it, then I'll know everything about it and all that has happened to it which I think makes a difference sometimes depending on the horse. You can bond with them a long time before you start breaking to ride and you really get to learn the horse and trust it. Plus I love love the babies - I love to watch them run and play!! They are just full of themselves when they are young

Yay, Diane just called me and I have a filly, born this morning!!! I'm so excited - She's going to send me pic's tomorrow... WOOOOHOOOO Cedar and baby both are doing fine, Diane said Cedar was pretty tired so she had laid down to rest and the baby couldn't figure out how to get down, so she slept standing up Oh I can't wait to get my hands on her, now it's time for the name game - Gotta come up with a name for her!!

Cedar and Chinney produce consistently wonderful foals! There are other awesome pairings for sure, but these two are among the great ones. JMO
Ellen and I hope to have a pairing with Zuni and Bolero, but until then......! Hope, I hope, I hope! This foal almost comes with a guarantee to be fantastic! Can't wait to see the pictures.

Here is Angel's girl! It rained hard today and the wind was blowing. I was able to get a few pictures after work and then spent the next hour persuading Cedar to let me put a blanket on her. Quil was born in March with lots of hair, but this girl was not supposed to have this yucky weather when she was newborn. She has a snuggy blanket on now. What a doll! She loved being rubbed and didn't mind the blanket at all. I'll post more pictures after she fluffs out.
