I was finally able to admit to myself why I have not ridden, and am now ready to ride. even if tomorrow it is for 1/2 an hour, it is a start. fear can sure stop you from g allot. and it was fear that paralyzed me to ride. fear of breaking a bone. So now I am working on my confidence.

Nola...take your time. You have to get out of your comfort zone in order to progress but even if that means only 10 minutes - so be it. You can do it!

I was unable to ride. Woke up feet and ankles were so swollen, have no clue why. But Jim took Stormy out, she needs more time out before I can ride, she trots down grades, was just a bit to antsy. so more ground work, and riding for Jim.

You need to see your doctor right away. It can be several things but heart trouble can be one of them.

Rode Stormy today for about an hour. friend posted pictures on face book, hubby took video. I loved it. hope to do it again next Saturday, weather permitting. I was so nervous I gave myself cotton mouth. towards the end of the ride my left knee was hurting, and my back, but I loved it and will keep doing it. Stormy took excellent care of me. I am on my way..

Stormy was wonderful, she did have a mental block about loading after our ride. took us 2 hours to load her, finally, she loaded.when we got home she acted like she did not want to get off, took a while, but she did it on her own. I was told that at one point in their life, a horse can do what Stormy did. she amazed me. a friends horse went into a bucking frenzy, it got spooked, Stormy stood still, and was calm, which kept me calm. She is so calm, cool, and collected. love this mare.
