I have had her for 6 years, and this was our first ride. I feel that the Kiger breed is a calm breed. I see it in Storm, her foal Nugget, and Riddle our Stallion, and Mira a mare we have had for a year now. they also seem to a real strong stubborn streak. I so love this breed.

she did have a mental block about loading after our ride. took us 2 hours to load her, finally, she loaded I am glad you got her loaded. Not meaning to sound mean but I am kinda glad to hear i am not the only one with a mare that has had a "mental bolck" loading into a trailer. Though I am jelous of your two hours... it took me five hours, but I feel that i proved to her i am just as stubborn as she is. Stormy sounds like a great mare. Good job with her and i hope you have many more amazing adventures with her. |

YEAH!!! So glad you got to ride her!!!! Of coarse your knee and back were sore! You rode for an hour!!!

tonight she went right on, and off. twice. she is amazing. will be riding for another hour Saturday, plus I am walking and doing all the feedings and watering. So I can get stronger, and I hope loose weight.
