Awesome! Dino is one of those once-in-a-lifetime horses. So, I let Dulzura (the filly) play with Zerlina last week in the aisle. They got along wonderfully - Zuri is so sweet and easy going. If I get my act together I know I can get her to where within a week or so she can be going out with the rest of the babies. Here she is peeking out of one of the stalls she wandered into: Zuri has figured out pretty quick where the feed lives, as she is checking out the feed buckets hanging here... The new mare, Raz, is in love with Charro and I was so hoping that they would get along well enough to be pastured together this winter. She followed him everywhere, mimicking all he did: I think Raz is coming into heat (so guessing she is not bred ); that also cuts off my plan for her and Charro to hang together until spring. Don't really care to have a winter baby.

Having the time of my life with Ruger, #1123. Here is him loose in the 4 acre pasture w/ my Arab. I kept having to tell the Arab "be nice to the wild stallion!" They played and played. Ruger came right up to me to have the halter put back on. whew. I am so amazed with this horse. If the horses left at Burns BLM are anything like this horse...they will be incredible companions for the adopters. Attachments:

Not sure if I am going to geld him. So far it has not been an issue, even when introducing him to the other horses. I don't have mares on the property. For endurance riding, it would be a benefit to keep him intact...if he is a good boy. He can keep his "Fruits of Untapped Energy" as long as he can channel that energy for forward motion. I keep forgetting he is a stud because it has been a non issue.

"I keep forgetting he is a stud because it has been a non issue." this quote pretty much says what alot of foks with stallions from the wild say, more often then not. Of course if you had mares around you might see another side of him I love what I am seeing in the photos, everyones adoptions coming along so nicely and bringing great joy to their new owners ..congrates to you all

Hello, I have 2 five-year old Kiger mares - one is 15.3 hand grulla, the other is 15+ dun. Both are sweet, gentle, and well-mannered. They need a restart under saddle, but are ready for a career. I am asking $1,800 each. They are located in the Seattle area.

like Kim said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!! no gelding allowed with that boy... if even considered you might wake up one morning to find him missing, and it might be safe to say that im not the only one who would be attempting to save his manly-hood . I would love to breed to him as well. I just need a non-gray(claybank) mare first, lol

How awesome. Dino is worth his weight in gold! Love the face on the horse with Kevin. What lucky Kigers to go home with the Sink-Kiger family!
