I think everybody agrees with you on turning that stud back out. If not they might have a bidding war on their hands LOL. My picks for Riddle are #1226 ,8160,1245, and 1234( love his overstride). For the Kiger herd it's #1123,1131,1148, and 1147. I still have some others i think they should turn out but with so many studs caught i can understand why they only want to return 5 more back out. I also happen to like 1231 and the black stud from Riddle as well, although you don't get to much of a glimpse of his conformation from his pics that well. Does anybody know how that chesnut stud got in there? All the boys this adoption are great quality and lot of them would make great studs or geldings!

Hey! Everyone be very very quiet 'bout that stud...except if you all want to vote he goes back out. If he stays, well, someone better be pretty darn good with wild horses to get ahold of an 11 year old stud (with no bite marks on him!). I just may know someone, BTW

I think #1245 needs to go back. Now there is what I call a sooty dun and black legs up to his armpits and seriously someone dipped his ears in black paint. He is young and his conformation is nice. I like his head with a large eye and good profile.

If he (#4789) doesn't get turned back out, I hope to see him gracing the Rancho Bayo website for sure!! And yes- he looks like he is well respected- if he does get adopted, I want to be able to follow his progress ;D

My best SWAG (scientific wild-@$$ guess...) is this: hormones (like testosterone) can cause the coat to have a metallic-like sheen. This is what also gives broodmares that "glow" right before they foal and why many stallions have that extra sheen. Combined with the sooty gene, it often looks bronze like on a bay type horse. He is a really cool color!
If that guy comes to RB, it may be awhile before there is any progress reports because I believe my husband will commit me for some professional help...!!!

I would like to see 1123 released. Reminds me so-o-o much of Mesteno.
4798 reminds me of SK

I am in love with 1245.... but I don't NEED another stallion.... I hope 4798 gets released, but if he doesn't, I too hope to see him at RB!

Michelle RE:#4798 I do believe you are covered under the "for better or for worse" clause of the contract.

I like 1248 as well, he could use a little longer neck, but he's very nice for only two. The colt is very nice indeed Angel, I think he will be darker, seems like his mom was too from Sarah's pictures.
