How is Victoria doing these days?

She is coming along. Her hip is changing and loosening up. Her bag is getting fuller, but not shiny or waxing up yet. The foal is really kicking up a storm in her belly. Victoria keeps kicking up at her stomach when the foal is being extra naughty. It looks like the foal seems to be jumping about as though it were already born! Here is a picture of her from yesterday: I had just rinsed her off as it was hot out. She is walking differently due to her pelvis loosening up! Getting very close!

Is Victoria out of the wild? I was also wondering if this was her first foal or not, i'm trying to see if this will help my foal predicting abilities LOL. She looks absolutely great by the way, I love how shes a dark shade of grullo.

Victoria is out of the wild. She was born in 1996 and was adopted in 1998. This will be her fifth foal and her first purebred. She has had three foals by Spanish Mustang stallions, one foal by a mixed bred (mixed type) Sulphur Mustang stallion (now gelding), and this foal is by a really awesome purebred Spanish type Sulphur stallion named Mestene's Pueblo. I am VERY excited about this foal and the fact that I have finally helped to bring another Spanish California bred horse in the world! There are less than 100 of these horses left, so each one is very precious! If I had the money and land, I would be breeding and showing several of these horses. In the meantime, I am getting the word out in any way I can even if it is a very small contribution.

It's a filly!!! Born sometime this morning. Victoria is such a punk! When will I ever get to see her foal??!! lol My trainer had checked on her late last night and didn't think that she would foal... lol
Off to the barn to get pictures! My trainer says, "she is cute as $%@%!"
Well, the filly will be named either Mercedes or Christina whichever one suits her best. She might be a grulla as well! That would make 5 grullas from Victoria! lol
