Too cute! Love those first few steps and the concentration it takes to keep all four legs under them. How nice for Fit to have one last fling! Hmmm, shall we take bets on color?

Thanks everyone! He is really full of himself today; exploring and giving mom fits as he runs off every few minutes.
Diane, I would not bet against you in a color gurssing contest given your experience with foals, so please give us your prediction if you will. What dolor do you see when you look at Two? Fit is darker- more pumpkin colored than many dun Kigers but not as dark as Dino and the bi-coloring in his mane is reddish mostly with very little light color in his tail either. For those of you who don't know him, he is my avitar on this board. I've long wondered if he had a red dun in his recent lineage. The sun is suppposed to be out tomorrow so I will get Rick to take pics.

Each one is a surprise Bobbie. I had a couple that had a definite pink cast to them. They both ended up grulla, of all things. Rio was one of them, he looked red dun for sure except he had brown and black in his mane and tail.

I am thinking zebra dun since you see black in his mane and tail. Being born late in the season, he has his winter fuzzies already, so that may have something to do with the light coloring. Some duns do have red dorsals, which I think is interesting...
