Pepita's mom is a mare from Riddle HMA, wild bred, born in the wild, adopted by me at the '03 Kiger adoption.
I don't know if everyone knows this, but only horses that have been adopted off of the Kiger or Riddle HMAs can have the word "Kiger" at the beginning of their name. (KMA rules)

Kiger Capitano has, I think, ten foals on the ground now......eight fillies and two colts. I have another two year old silver grulla filly here, a full sister to Pepita, that I love. Both fillies have very friendly personalities. I will be keeping Pepita also. I have been wrestling with the thought of gelding Capitano for a while now, just to simplify my life a little but it is hard to think about that when he keeps giving me such nice babies like these two.

How old are his oldest? From the couple pictures of his foals that I have seen, they definitely have a Capitano offspring look. I have not seen a "variety" look where you wonder who the stallion is.

Capitano's oldest filly is three years old. Two fillies are two years old. Six babies are one year old,..... four fillies, two colts. Only one filly this year. Thanks for the compliment, George, and you also have a very nice Capitano colt.  I would like to see pics of the two fillies.  |
