Sycha is due May 19th...however, the average she carries is 336 days and she seems to always foal on the 15th of the month. She is coming right along, udder getting larger (still yellow discharge), belly has dropped and her hindend is getting wobbley. She likes to come in and take a nap in front of her fan every day! I am hoping hoping hoping for a filly...so far she has had two colts and two fillies, so I guess we can go either way! Picture of Sycha taken a few days ago at 321 days in foal:

Oh poor mama, no wonder she loves her fan. Hope you get a beautiful filly. Who is she bred to again?

Poor Mama...Least she'll foal before it's excessively hot, eh? You guys aren't too hot down in Texas yet are ya???
Hoping for a filly for you!!!!

Nope, not hot yet...it is hard here to plan foalings. Either too cold in April still or gets too hot by June! Poor Nesa is due June 22 - hopefully I can get her bred on her foal heat this year so we can back that up some for next year.
Sycha is bred to Charro.

332 days in foal...looks like she may at least wait until the weekend, maybe actually make her due date, the 19th. Sychas' belly has really dropped and she's just waddleing around; coming in early the last few days and not to excited about going out either - staying close to the barn too... Her udder is shaping up and her ph levels are steady dropping, along with her calcium level raising. She usually gets really big, lots of thick wax and then thick thick sticky milk for a day or two before she foals.

Tomorrow is Sychas' due date...but unless she miraculously fills up her udder heavy with milk, it ain't happening. Since she usually gets thick wax and tests ready for two days prior, we are at least a few days out.
She's gonna make me wait for this one.

It must be so exciting, and frustrating at times too I bet! I'll keep fingers crossed for a filly for you too, so many boys already!

Nothing much...her calcium just went up some this morning and her nitties fill in quickly after she comes in for the night, but no wax yet. Baby doing jumping jacks in there though!

Sycha made some big changes overnight...was having some pretty good contractions this morning for about fifteen minutes. My guess would be in the next 48 hours - full moon tomarrow night!
