I'm looking at planning a dinner auction as a fundraiser for Mustang U. Just looking for input as to the best time of year? I'd love to do a winter holiday theme, but of course there's the risk of poor weather, and would people feel like splurging at an auction with the holidays ahead?
So when would you be most likely to attend? Spring? Summer? Fall? Winter?
TIA for your shared opinion & thoughts!

Just for us late spring is a good bet. We are back in the money by then, yet not in the midst of summer plans and events. Winter is awash with family get togehters and just having enough money to make it thru' and try and do something special for the Holidays.

oh that too To not give up on a winter Holiday event. I would think some type of Holiday Bazzar or Crafters Market with a percentage of space rental or sales, going to your fundraiser would be more successful in the winter before the Holiday season for unique gifts.
