Any of you in the pacific northwest are invited to come to Celebrate the Horse in Puyallup this weekend! It is a horse expo with breed demos and clinicians. I will be riding my mare Riddle Conchetta in Marybeth Weifel's clinics. (now having invited you, I hope I don't embarrass myself!) There will also be a group of Kigers in the breed demo. This will be Conchetta's first indoor arena, first big crowd on bleachers, first overnight in a box stall, and probably many other firsts! Hope to see some of you there , Lil

I think we've got 6 horse lined up to be in the breed demo....2 english, 3 western and one under harness. I'll also be bringing KC and Lupine to just hang out in thier stall and get attention. Hopefully someone will show up to take pics!

We had a wonderful weekend! The horses were all great, and there were many people impressed with our horses' looks and temperament. Here is the group, from left to right is Kim and Savannah, Dennis and Little Man, me with Conchetta, Ashley and Stella, Grace on Kody, and Margaret on Fuego. Kim and Savannah; sorry the arena pic is so dark Grace and Kody (she says she wasn't mad at him, just trying to deal with him rushing after Kim's mare!). Grace is my daughter and has loved Kody for years; she was thrilled to get to ride him. KC; this is the only red dun I have seen close up that has the sooty gene. She is just lovely KC's baby, Lupine. Lupinie got be be a demo foal in Ken McNabb's foal handling class. He was quite impressed with her. Margaret on Fuego Dennis with Little Man in the Moon. Little Man is just 13.2 Ashley with my 2 year old Stella and me on Conchetta. She did super with the crowds and noise and everything!

Wonderful pictures Kim. Looks like you were a busy lady, and I bet you appreciated your helpers. Shame on me for complaining about taking three horses to KHP and considering narrowing it down to two. Thanks for the inspiration to bite the bullet and go with three horses. You did a good job! Melissa

Thanks to Lil for the photo's ( tell Rachel she done good!! ), and for bringing Conchetta and Stella to save the weekend. We had 2 people with saddle horses drop out at the last minute, so were able to substitute Stella and Little Man in hand. A HUGE thanks to Grace for doing such a nice job with Kody. It was an absolute thrill for me to have Lupine invited to be a demo foal in Ken McNabbs presentation, and even a bigger thrill to hear him speak so highly of her. You are right Melissa..... I couldn't have done it without the great helpers. Margaret has not ever done anything like this ( not so much as a schooling show ) and was a total trooper. She has been riding Fuego for me for the last few weeks to get prepared. Ashli was supposed to ride one of the saddle horses who canceled, and bless her heart, I know she was disappointed, but came thru anyhow and handled Stella for Lil and I. She also rode Savannah in the same clinics Lil rode Conchetta in, so she had a very busy weekend as did Savannah! Dennis was priceless with all his help setting up and tearing down and handling Little Man. I think I slept in til 9:30 on Monday! It was a high speed, exhausting weekend, but we all had a really good time, and our horses were all very well behaved. People just marveled about Conchetta. She is amazing. Kim
