Our club has decided to take the grulla sale authority mare and try to gentle/adopt her out. We've been told we need to adopt the filly before she can come up, so hoping to find an adopter prior to us needing to spend the money (we could spend it on hay if we aren't adopting her.) If anyone is interested, holler! Her momma is a pretty silver grulla from Sheepshead and stands about 14.3. If you don't want to adopt, but would like to help sponsor/support her please send me a pm. Thanks!

how old is the filly? how soon till she could be weaned? she's just the $125 for the filly to adopt? same critera as a normal adoption? when are you getting her? would they freezemark the baby before the pair leaves Burns? depending how things go in Longview I may be very intersted! AND we have a mare (former PMU broodie) on the farm whenever we wean in past years she is the designated babysitter and then she nurses them all!!! Regardless of whether she's had a foal that year or not (she never completely dries up). So might even have a possible nurse mare situation if that would help focusing the mares attention on gentling and not worrying about her foal.

Filly was born in April, so won't be weaned for a few months. Yes, they'll freeze brand her before she leaves.
Not real sure when we'll be heading down; I'd like her to be old enough to hold her own in the trailer in case the mare gets a bit crashy. Probably not until next month.
