Great shots! Thanks for sharing. I'm very much missing being down there this year. You didn't by any chance catch parts of the makeover, did you? I think I'm going to have to do that one again next year

I can tell the horses and riders.... on the Bosal horse is Pinie Minto ( yes that is a Fournier brand ) the guy in the black shirt riding the grullo gelding is Eli Ruanovarra, and the rider wearing the turquoise chaps in Pam Perdue on her grulla mare. They all look like they did a fine presentation.

Those are great photos and beautiful Kiger Mustangs, it looks as though they put on a good presentation for the Expo'. Thanks so much for sharing them here, I love to see Kiger pics' ;D
As kimk mentioned that is a Fournier brand, I did send one pic' their way to show them their horses are out there performing, I don't know the horse. Matt was talking about dusting off Cowboy and putting him back into a couple showrings this year, nothing big, money is tight, just for fun and because people like seeing Cowboy.

WOW, GREAT PICTURES!!!! The bay in the first picture is Sue Watkins Emm horse. SHe sure is pretty. Eli's horse's name is Wallow's Rio Smoke. Pam's mares name is Wallowa’s Mountain Shadow “Shadow” Pinnie's mare is out of Cowboy. She has done just an awesome job training her. She gave Kevin and Dino a run for the money at Kigerfest 2007 and her filly was only three!!!

It's not until you see things like that, that you realize just how very much of a novice you are. That was phenomenal!!

I had a feeling Pinnie's house was Cowboy kid ... I can see Cowboy influence there, in the conformation. She also has some height to her I bet.
That video is great, when I was a kid I would have LOVED to have learned to ride with a trick saddle WOOHOO! Now I am just happy to heave ho' myself up on my tall horses without the assitance of a mounting block or rock...LOL ;D

Actually the bay mare is her kiger that she was selling in the sale. I think her name was Colorado Con Brio aka dot. This is her sales page on their website. www.kigersdeloscalifornios.com/sale.htm

kinda' off topic ...but when I went to that website and checked the KCA alumni ... I see that they were the ones that adopted the big grulla, now called Fandango aka Smokey, I liked so much at the last adoption. It is nice to see he got some good foundation training and a new home where he is very much appreciated.
