I wanted to capture a shot of our four freeze branded mustangs together. They were pretty co-operative! The black is Checotah, age 23, from Nevada Wild Horse Range; the grulla is Conchetta, 18 years old, from Riddle Mountain; the dun is Dulcinea, 9 years old, from Kiger, and the bay is Dixie, 13 years old, from Shawave HMA, Nevada. We have sold Dulcinea, so I knew this would be my last chance for this particular shot. And one of Conchetta and Dulcinea, my very first wild horses, both adopted in Burns at the 2003 Kiger adoption. It has been an amazing journey....

That's a great shot with the four of them! Love the soft dove grulla coloring on Conchetta.

Those are great pictures of your Mustangs I do love the first picture of everyone together. Then the second picture of the two Kigers is real nice as well, they both stood so nicely with ears forward, that is always so tuff sometimes for a photo.

Well, I had three of my kids doing jumping jacks, and throwing handfuls of hay, trying to keep the horses looking forward and alert. I should have had a camera going on the kids! Lil

Yeah, great pics! I like them with all their brands... I know a lady around here that could do some great Photoshop work on those to be real artsy -- eh Tracey? ;D They look great though, and the colors work very well together.
