Not a Kiger, but hopefully someone will help her find a home anyway!
This lady adopted this mare at the Asheville adoption in April. Life circumstances have changed, and she has to move out of state, and can't take the horse. I was trying to get her in the TIP program so I could gentle her and rehome her, but since she's only 2 years old she doesn't qualify. If this horse doesn't find a home in the next 2 weeks, she will be returned to a BLM holding facility. She's way too nice to get a strike against her like that!
She is a 2 year old mare from the White Mtn HMA. She is almost 15 hands, and moves really nicely. It only took me about 20 minutes in a round pen to be able to walk up to her and touch her on the neck and shoulder. And about an hour and a half to get a halter and rope on her. This mare has a lot of sense, and if someone put time in to her would make someone a super nice mare. Please, spread the word, or someone taker her as a project horse! I'm willing to deliver for cost of fuel. She's located in the Asheville, NC area.
