Spanish Sage Ranch's stud, Silver Bullet is a 1999 Grulla Kiger stallion, foal of two BLM branded Kigers. His sire is Kiger Diamond Rio, from the Riddle HMA, and dam is Kiger Katie, a 1978 born Kiger mare. She is one of the founding mares of the Kiger herd.
Bullet was shown extensively his first year under saddle in 2004. He consistently place above other, more seasoned competitors, including Kigers and other horses. He narrowly missed receiving the Ron Harding Perpetual Trophy in that year, because I removed him from training after learning of abusive practices, and injuries to my poor boy.
Nevertheless, even at Kigerfest 2004 he won Green Horse High Point Buckle, in the Open Horse category, with me riding him. That was after 3 weeks off from the trainer, and me having to ride him despite not riding consistently in the previous 10 years. Much appreciation to Kevin Sink for helping me out at that show, including handling Bullet in the Dun Factor Class (Bullet placed Third, his son, pictured below with him, placing First), and advising me to just scratch Bullet from one of his final classes, when I was having trouble getting the correct canter lead, to "give him one show where there isn't a fight."
He has been recognized internationally for his beautiful conformation, color, and Iberian type, and is honored, at their request, to be pictured in Conquistador Magazine, and the Magazine of the British Andalusian Horse Society (British Association for the Purebred Spanish Horse.)
He throws his excellent dun factor, athletic and spanish-type conformation, intelligence, and soundness to his foals.
He is available for AI shipping, and is expected to have gone through the quarantine requirements so that his semen can be shipped to EU countries, and other international locations next breeding season.
You can see more pictures of one of the mares and Bullet's progeny on www.horseshowcentral.com/flex/kiger_mustang/258/1, the Kiger Mustang Breed description at Horse Show Central.com (except for the horse in the halter, and from Spanish Sage Ranch at

Please enjoy the photographs posted here, showing him under saddle, with his son Quicksilver Wind, and just being a horse in his pasture.
