I'm offering Smoke for free to the right home. Looking for a home with about an 8 year old girl to love, pasture and at least one other horse. Needs to be close enough to Seattle that I can drive to it and inspect it. If one of you could give a good reference that would be OK too.
Smoke is doing great on the herbal treatment for Cushings. Its $8 a month and needs either once or twice daily with a bit of grain. I would prefer a young rider not an adult. He is great on trails but not for showing or gaming.

We made the decision just last night. Smoke is going to be living at Joan's house, boarded there for a friend who has four little girs. I think he is going to love being loved by four girls, and Joan has promised lots of pictures. Thanks everyone for your help on this. I got a ton of responses from Craigs list and several from the board here. Its a relief to have the decision made and know that he will be in such wonderful hands.

What an excellent outcome! Talk about your win-win-win situation. Smoke gets a great home with a knowledgeable keeper and other Kigers and little girls to dote on him, little girls get a wonderful horse to love and grow up with, and Dianne you have the peace that your beloved horse is in a great situation. Wonderful!

I just got to see my first pictures of Smoke in his new home. What a perfect place and he looks so proud and happy to be carrying the kids. Maleah, his new owner, is very pleased with him. Pictures are Joan's and aren't they wonderful! Go to her blog athttp://mudranch.com/ Thanks Joan!
