I was out spraying 'roundup' along the side fence to our pool yard when, out from under the fence ran two bluebelly lizards. One ran right for me with the other on his tail. They literally stopped right under me, as I was kneeling. They were just a few inches from each other and I put my hand vertically down between them and said "no fighting now" in a playful sort of tone. Both of them looked up at me and one moved off a few inches (still both under me). When I lifted my hand, the other one came back the few inches and I put my finger down and gave his side a gentle little push and told him "no fighting" in the same voice. He just looked up at me and didn't move, though I had my finger touching his side. The other lizard ran around behind me and the first one ran right directly under my behind, if I'd have sat, I'd have squashed him. I reached under and gave him a little nudge towards the boulders I had nect to my potted plants. He ran over and jumped up on one and bounced his body up and down with his throat flap stretched fully out. The other lizard ran out from behind me and to the fence. I want about what I was doing while both of them sat there and watched me. When I finished with the 'roundup', I got the 'home defense' to spray around the full footprint of the house. When I came out with the spray and started working again, the lizard that had been behind me, ran to about four foot from me and sat there and watched me. I finished spraying the whole footprint of the house and ended back in the pool area. The lizard had moved back to the wall, but when I came back (with my camera) he came back down from the wall, to the concrete which is where I got the picture of him
