This is not a very flattering picture of horse's rears, but I am amazed by one of our fillies. the butt on the right is mom, the butt on the left is 11 month old Noni. It might not be the best comparison of size, but in the upright position she is still as tall as mom. Guess she gets it from Fit - he tapes at 16 hands. In the second picture I added Pele - on the right now, with Noni in the center. she is from another dam and 5 weeks younger than Noni. They were still "winter fuzzy". I am only 5'6". I may have to keep the smaller filly just to be able to mount up.
