Avatars

Could someone help me with getting an avatar to show up? I put the photo in photobucket and made it an avatar there. I've tried each of the formats but none seems to work. Under modify profile I said none to the pre-established avatars (although they work) and pasted the html in the next line with 99 x 99 as the height and width. Hmmm

My height and width is 65 x 65. Maybe try that and see if that helps. I just pasted the url in the "avatar url" and it worked for me.....

Your height sounds fine. Are you using the 'direct link' to copy and paste off of photobucket? because that is the one you need to use.

ok where do I past the link here to make my avatar I am computer avatar ignorant and want stormy as my avatar, help me mister wizard........

Click on profile at the top of this page, then click on the words modify profile when the screen comes up. When the next screen comes up, don't change anything that is blank unless you have new information. Go down to avatar and click none. Then in the avatar url paste the "direct link" url from photobucket where you stored your picture. In the next line say 100x100 if your picture is square or 100x80 (or 80x100) if you have a rectangular picture.
