Gypsy gave us a filly of a different color this morning. She would be red dun if it wasn't for a small amount of black in tail and a small amount in mane. Kim ya think she will shed out to be the dreaded red dun ?    |

Congrats again, Barb and George! Yep, it's a red dun alright. Lots of 'em have black hairs interdispersed in thier mane and tail. Who's the daddy? Is it another Capitano foal?

Yes Kim she is our 2nd Capitano foal.
This is foal #2 for Gypsy, first was from Buddy a red dun we expected her, then a red dun from Capitano. We were looking for something else this time.
I think I will take odds on her next foal !
Can't wait to get home and see her, from what I see in the pics I am very pleased.
How are things going with your boy ?

PS Sugarfoot will be the next she is a walking tank.

Congrates on the new fabulous foal. ;D just darling! I think it is great this the year for the 'Red Dun Rage'...they have been missed the past few years. I welcome them back  |

Capitano looks like he's producing some good ones! I really like Capitano - Sugarfoot is the last for the year that we can count on. The mare Noname ( she looks like a twin to Holly ) was bred .Barbara doesn't think she is in foal but I do, it will be her first foal . I hope I am correct because she is a nice mare. Capitano is proving out to be a good choice for our mares. We enjoyed working with and handling him while he was at the ranch. I would recommend him for anyones consideration. George |
