Very cool! Thank you so much for posting these. I'm pretty sure thats my friend Madelyn there in the blue, #5. Seems Valentine is one of those super reactive horses that absolutely explodes each and every time something new comes her way. We're all holding our breath that she can somehow pull this off without getting into trouble.

I was driving down the street in Norco, stopped at a stop sign and Maddy rode right in front of me. I delivered your message for you and then talked to her more during her rest period later on in the day. She remembered you and wanted to know what was going on with you. I told her about the kiger board and she wanted to know if you'd gotten into Kigers. Would you like me to give her your email? The other funny thing is, she lives just down the road from me! She's in Valley Center and I'm on the border of Valley Center and Escondido.
I'm going to post more pictures today, and post some video I took. The lights or whatever in that arena were messing with everyone's cameras. They were going in and out of clarity and they were going from light to dark a lot. It was frustrating as heck. Then at one point, while I was recording a run, a little girl walked flat into me and knocked me over. I was on my knees, turned at a funny angle and she just blundered right into me. I'm still very tired and worn out. (Sitting on bleachers for two days is very hard on a bad back). But it was all very much worth it! I'll post the pictures soon!

I've got her email...we've exchanged a few over the past year. We've got another friend in common (in Oregon) who competed with use in Sacramento as well.

That's good I have to imagine that this whole thing creates a LOT of commeraderie. I imagine it also creats some stress and such between contestants too. I was watching yesterday while the gal on a sorrel horse, working at an easy trot, was passed on the outside (by the rail, with not much room at all to spare) at a gallop, her horse was upset for a moment and then calmed down. As they came around the opposite straight away, going towards the turn at the end of the arena, the gal on the sorrel, cut in sooner and galloped passed the one that had passed her.
