I have a little fenced area outside my house (the fence is maybe three feet tall) and I put Firefly in that area as it extends to right next to the gravel driveway. We are on a property with another person and our agreement is that the entry gate be open at three pm (she's prissy and can't deal with getting out and opening a gate to drive in and close it after). I wanted to detail out my car late this afternoon and I had it parked in the gravel drive. I put Firefly's bucket of bermuda grass just inside so I could talk to her while I was working. I have a good sized and quite loud air compressor that I use to blow out the engine compartment, all the interior vents and the windshield washer system. Firefly was standing there eating her dinner, I was working on the car and the compressor flipped on to build it's compression back up. I looked up at Firefly to see her reaction, she was standing there calmly munching on her bermuda grass, looking towards the noise with her ears pricked. She didn't even flinch! Very surprising to me considering how very loud the thing is. Also, I have a couple of small cardboard boxes inside a much larger cardboard box, sitting outside waiting for recycle day. She got hold of that and scooted it a little. When it made noise she flinched and jerked her head up, then put it right back down again and started playing with the boxes, burying her head in them and moving them around. She's the most playful, curious horse I've ever had. It's very entertaining to watch her
