I was watching Richard Winter's on his TV show and he had a kiger mustang mare on there, 9 years old and adopted from the wild cause she had a brand - she was aggressive towards other horse's when riding. Im sure it was an old taping but did anyone else see it and know the lady who brought her? I think her name was Janelle or Janice, can't remember.

Was it by chance a grulla mare? Was the lady's name Janie? If so and it's who I think she is then she lives in Oregon and the mare was adopted at the last Kiger Adoption in Burns. Nice Mare.

Hi There. I am in that video riding my BLM mustang Walley. I am one of the riders Richards is weaving around when riding that mare. It was filmed at Richards place, Thacher School in Ojai, CA. and is part of a problem solving video he released in Feb. The Kiger Mare is dun, 9-10 years old and belongs to a 50ish yr old women over on the CA central coast, Gilroy area I think. I have forgotten her name if it comes to me I will post it. I believe it is KMA registered. She has had the horse for many years, it is well broke but very spoilded. Sorry to be so vague, it has been a year since we filmed that. There was also a really nice 1/2 Kiger 1/2 paint gelding in the video. Willey he is a dun and very cute. It was fun to have so many Kiger folks at that clinic..... to bad it was a problem solving clinic! LOL

Oh how awesome - and yes I do remember you in there as well. How AMAZING to get to work with Richard. I saw him at the Road to the Horse and just loved him. He's amazing and I really love his style.
The ladies name was Janice.
