Great parade shots. I would love to see a whole contingent of Kigers in the Pasadena Rose Parade, that would really be something

You guys look great.....It's always awesome to see Kigers getting out and about! Was the equine group an all-breeds contingent or a saddle club or what? Great job Lisa....

Love the pics Lisa. It looks like your exchange student is having a lot of fun, what does she think of your horses? Has she ever been around horse's before?

The parade was a group that I ride with in parades. We ride for War Veterans. There's breeds of all types. But the Kiger's really stand out from the others! They have such presence, movement and collection. This last July 4th we rode for a specific fallen soldier from my town. My exchange student has a horse back home in Denmark, a warm blood type. She has ridden quite a bit. The group we go through (YFU) allows you the choose your student and student profile. She really enjoys the Kigers on the trails. It's her first time riding western. Her horse is a jumper, all legs and a bit clumsy on the trails. By the way we've been training Sally (the big dun Sofie's on) for jumping. Sally loves it! She may not have TB legs but she has the heart and will for it. We've also been doing Dressage training with her. Sally's flexibility and correct movement has improved tremendously. Thanks for all the + comments.

Sally and Dani will be at the Midwest Horse Fair in Wisconsin in a couple of weeks also. Yes, Sally always makes people look twice in the Parades.
Sadly Sofie will be leaving in June but I have a horse going to Sweden (next to Denmark) so she will be able to visit her and we hopefully we will be able to visit Sofie someday.
I have a student coming next year from Germany. Another horsey girl and more adventures!
