This story of mule that went away to a trainer, it is very heartbreaking. I think everyone that sends their equine off to a trainer, they do so wanting to get the best start with someone more qualified then themselves. They never imagine that what happened to this mule will accur. freewebs.com/tessasordeal/

I'm speechless, partially from crying. I had to go hug my horses. Poor Cathy!

I am shocked and devistated at the cruelty this innocent girl must have had to endure. I can't believe that the sick person who did this has gone unpunished!!! Here in Canada with evidence like that the sick looser who did this would have been hung from the tallest yardarm by now. He/she would have been very lucky if anything would have been left for the authorities. The animal activists here in Canada are extremely serious about fighting animal abuse and by the pictures, it is apparent that it was an everyday/ongoing ordeal for that poor girl.

Oh wow-- that is heartbreaking. A nightmare. It's so hard to find trainers you can trust. I personally would never leave my horse somewhere I couldn't regularly check on them, but even so a lot can happen in just a few hours, so you never really feel safe.
So sad. And sadly stuff like this happens alll the time.

It is the duty of people who know that trainers are bad to say so. I sent Cedar to someone who abused her and the two people who knew I shouldn't didn't say a word. It took me three months of work to undo 30 days.

What an awful story this is.I read her blog & the trainer mentioned they had to "drag her"on a road when she balked. The wounds on her body certainly appear to be from being dragged on gravel or pavement....I've unfortunately seen this done to horses before .You just want to hog tie those responsible & drag them down a road till they look this bad (& then shoot them!!)I sure hope they get charged & their names are made public so they never get a chance to abuse another animal in the name of "training".

I also thought it looked as though she was actualy draged on the road....sick S.O.B'S. It is hard to belive they have not been punished yet!!really sad! She seemed like a much loved horse with lots of potential.
