So tomorrow night we hit the road to drive from Asheville, NC, to Lexington, VA. I will be picking up my Kiger colt and 2 Beatty Butte fillies for a friend of mine. I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time, lol. This is the first long trip I've been on pulling a big 4-horse trailer with my current truck. I keep checking and double checking everything, hoping I didn't forget anything. I'm getting the oil changed tomorrow morning before we leave too. Anyone in the Lexington area going to be checking out the adoption? Oh, and another question... what size halter do you think I need to take? He's not quite 2 years old, and around 14 hands. I'm guessing small horse size.
