I'm looking for a great home for LadyRose where she can be a broodmare. She has had amazing foals for us that have been great minded and super athletic. All will be well over 15 hands, could do dressage easily and have sold as weanlings. The last colt out of Chinook has his sooty gene and is darker but still has dun markings, the others out of Bravo have been lighter dun. Dreamer, Taos and Cruiser have been her foals with us. LadyRose was gathered out of the Kiger HMA in 2003 and I bought her from her adopter a couple years later. She does well when you work with her daily but reverts back to the wild if you don't. As I'm retiring I'm looking to give her to someone who be able to handle her snorty-ness and give her a great home.

She's a very pretty mare, Dianne. Has anyone tried to start her under saddle, or was she deemed too snorty?

She is such a beautiful mare Dianne, too bad the economy is going belly up... I'd love to have her as a broodmare! She has such gorgeous babies and actually, her personality reminds me of my old mare Etta. Very snorty but is a one on one mare with the right person who puts in every day time with her. I'm glad she's got that home now. Good luck finding her a good home! I'm sure you will.

I just sold Cruiser, that makes three for three for her. Taos is nearby, purchased by my best friend's daughter so I get to watch him grow up. Gorgeous boy. I just posted video of Cruiser, her last colt out of Chinny on youtube. Joan, I think she is very like your Etta. She has two of the very best trainers I know work with her and I think one of them could have started her under saddle. But her flight reflex is so strong that I would not trust her under saddle myself. Since I'm working some distance away I don't get to see them except the weekends and she needs more than that.

Lady Rose has amazing movement!! Would make a wonderful dressage horse, I know maverick was much more calmer in the arena. And you know my favorite in that video is the silver boy running around

Cruiser is well named, he moves effortlessly. His new owner analyzed his angles, saw length of his stride and said "yep".

Dianne-
Lady Rose is gorgeous. I've been watching her. Just by the pictures I can see the movement. I couldn't imagine in motion!
