Just read this today. John Sharp, for those who don't know, was Kitty Lauman's grandfather and the one who developed the bamboo pole method. Great horseman who will be missed.

It saddens me to hear of his passing.....I spent two glorious weeks at some Wild Horse Workshops working with John...It was the most amazing time...I couldn't seep in enough of the knowledge he taught us....and when we were done working the horses, he and Joyce taught us to tie rope halters....I know he was frail and ready to go but he will be sorely missed...I almost thought of him as invincible....Heaven is a much brighter place today with him there......
